1. Activate the Autel Printer.

 

2. Plug-in the 802 to the computer (unit should turn on)

 

3. Select the playback icon. Once you have done that, it should connect at that point and you should be able to print, copy or edit the selected data.

 

It will not connect until you select "Playback"

    Don't mean to hijack this thread but I'm having a similar problem, running Windows 8.1 and everything works fine except for the printing function, even after following the simple steps Autel Printer shows "No scan tool connected!" message even after selecting PlayBack, in device manager it shows up as "Aute1USBSerial" and reads "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)".

So my question, is the print function supported in Windows 8.1 and if so where to obtain drivers if needed?

Have the Autel PC Suite V6.31 installed

 I did leave another reply to this problem. it seems the 8# windows don't work. I have to use my old  note pad with windows 7 and it works fine. strange thing electronics, If you do find an answer please post, 

 When you plug in the unit, does the updater come up to search for drivers? If so let is search... There is a driver that it needs. Had that issue as well with XP. Once it found what it needed it worked fine.  This might be the issue with Windows 8.1 as well.

  If I try and search for drivers it tells me none can be found, works fine on my Win7 PC at work so obviously Autel needs to update the drivers for Win8.x support, may have to resurrect one of my old home PCs and revert to Windows 7 but would rather not if it can be avoided.
